WAS from EA8/Tenerife

Last year in October we were again active with a small HF station from Tenerife. It is one of the Canary Islands, northwest of Africa.. As EA8/DL3FCG we had a QSO with the last 5 missing of all 50 US states:

  #47. KC7KZ - Idaho
  #48. K0LUW - Nebraska
  #49. KH6MB - Hawaii
  #50. WY7FD - Wyoming

Now the application for the Worked All States WAS award is on its way. All QSO are confirmed through LotW and thus the online application is easily done without any paperwork....LotW is a great tool !

The equipment of EA8/DL3FCG in 2011 was Yaesu FT857, microHAM controller for RTTY, JT65 and PSK31. Antenna: G5RV wire for 40m-10m.
